We focussed on writing from our own experiences in this session, trying to keep the writing spare and simple, trying to make an impact, to get in and get out!

'We were playing football in the street

We were bored and had nothing else to do

Matt said something and it turned into a fight

I threw him through the newsagent window

The owner came out and tried to grab me

But I just walked away

Matt was okay apart from his shoulder

We laughed about it 

The way he smashed through that window
